One of the big benefits of Windows 10 is that Microsoft plans to keep up to date.
The free upgrade is a full version of Windows (not a trial or introductory version) and is available until July 29, 2016. Once you upgrade, you’ll have Windows 10 for free on that device.
November update (Version 1511).

The Windows 10 November Update, which includes additional features and improvements, will automatically download and install when it becomes available. After the update is installed, your device will be running Windows 10 Version 1511. To see what version of Windows 10 your device is currently running, select the Start
